Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actress in England since the 1980s. In 1990 there was speculation that she might have been Hugh Grant's girlfriend. In the 1990s, when Grant was at the centre of attention for the media due to his worldwide box office success with Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in a plunged black Versace dress that was secured with gold safety pins. She gained instant media exposure. Her association in the company of Estee Lauder has been the most memorable moment in her career. Hurley got her first modeling gig at the Estee-Lauder company at the age of 29 years old. Since then, the company has utilized Hurley as a product model specifically for perfumes including Sensuous Intuitions as well as Pleasures. Her most well-known work is her character, Vanessa Kensington, in the famous spy film International Man of Mystery (2007) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). I Kissed a Girl's combination of sensuality, polished music and a catchy tune helped it become a top-ten hit in a variety of nations. It led to an album called The One of the Boys (2007) selling well. With its bouncy sharp-tongued second single Hot N Cold also proving to be a hit, the album which Perry created herself ultimately registered the sales of over 3 million copies across the United States.
